- 250 g minced meat made from fatty lamb breast
- 1 paprika
- 2-3 green peppers
- 3 middle size tomatoes
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 6-7 pieces of parsley
- 1 dessert spoon peppered tomato paste
- 2 dessert spoons of salt
- 1 dessert spoon of ground red pepper
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 glass of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 5 glasses of flour
- Put tomatoes, peppers, garlic and parsley into the chopper and chop the ingredients.
- Add the lamb meat on top of the ground ingredients and turn on the chopper again.
- Lastly, add peppered tomato paste, ground red pepper and salt and mix them.
- Hold the mix in a sieve while preparing the dough.
Making the Dough:
- Put the yeast in a bowl with lukewarm water and salt, mix it until the yeast and salt melt.
- Leave the mixture to rest with its lid closed, add 2.5 glasses of flour and knead for 10 minutes to achieve a dough that is not too hard.
- After leaving the dough for rest for 10 minutes, split it into 6 round pieces. After resting it for 10 minutes with its lid closed, roll out each round piece with flour to achieve plate-sized thin round shapes.
- Place the lahmacuns on to the non-stick surface of Arzum Maxi Grill Multi-Functional Cooker that its pre-heated at 3rd setting at “Lower-upper function”.
- Spread the topping on the dough abundantly. Place the grate accessory on the Arzum Maxi Grill Multi-Functional Cooker and close its lid.
- Cook it for 3 minutes until the bottom side is fried and the upper side changes color.
- Rest the cooked lahmacuns in a closed plate so that they do not go soft while other lahmacuns are cooking.
- Serve with lemon wedges, parsley or any other herb you like.
