  • 4 glasses of dry beans
  • 6 middle-sized onions
  • 4 green peppers
  • 4 red hot peppers
  • 15 slices of pastrami (without fenugreek)
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 dessert spoons peppered tomato paste
  • 2 dessert spoons of ground red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of black pepper
  • Enough boiled water to reach the top of the ingredients
  • Drain the dried beans that were soaked the night before.
  • Heat the Arzum Maxi Grill Multi-Functional Cooker at the 3rd setting on “Lower-upper function”.
  • Dice the onions and peppers.
  • Fry the onions on the tray of Arzum Maxi Grill Multi-Functional Cooker until they turn slightly pink.
  • Add the pepper and tomato paste, and keep frying for 2 more minutes.
  • Add 1 liter of boiling water and boil for 2-3 more minutes.
  • Add the salt and spices and lastly the dried beans, then add enough water to go above the ingredients about a finger’s height and close the lid.
  • Lower the setting between 2 and 3.
  • Leave it for cooking at low heat. 20 minutes later, add the chopped pastrami, butter and hot peppers and cook at low heat for 1 hour (until the beans are cooked).
  Note: If it is not going to be served right away, leave it to rest with “Keep Warm function”.
